Siri, holding a Master Degree in Maritime Law from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and a member of the Jordanian Bar Association, has specialized in maritime and insurance law for over twenty years. He has extensive experience in handling maritime claims settlement and negotiations. Siri has advised shipowners, charterers, insurance companies, traders, and P&I clubs in dispute resolution proceedings before courts and arbitration.
Siri served as a maritime legal consultant for the largest shipping group in Jordan and other large raw material exporting companies like the Arab Potash Company. He spent 11 years at Al Tamimi & Company law firm as a senior associate in the Transport and Insurance department, working in Amman, Dubai, and Al Khobar offices. His experience covers contentious and non-contentious transport and insurance matters, ship financing, legal proceedings including London arbitration under LMAA rules, and vessel sale and purchase contracts.
